Healing Organic Niaouli essential oil is a first cousin to Tea Tree, but we
prefer it’s bright forest like aroma.
Most facial scrubs found on the market today are made of artificial chemical
gels. We took our Skin Free Sweet and Smooth Sugar Scrub concept and added our
wonderful new all natural Skin Free Extra Moisturizing Liquid Soap, some very
fine cosmetic grade pumice, and our favorite antibacterial essential oil,
Niaouli, to make a powerful and effective scrub for blemish prone skin.
The end result of using this great new formulation is rejuvenated, glowing skin
with fewer problem areas. This product makes your skin feel velvety and clean,
not dried out, burning and itching. We added just a touch of light Organic
Macadamia nut oil and some anti-inflammatory Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil to
allow your skin to be moisturized while you clean out overworked pores.
One of the problems with stripping away all oils from you skin is that you
over-stimulate the natural oil producing cycle of your skin. It can’t be
stressed enough how important it is to continue to moisturize your skin while
you are fighting blemishes. You want to keep your skin’s oil cycle balanced to
promote healthy skin, prevent wrinkles, and not have too much oil generated.
Clogged pores are caused by too much oil, which is oxidized at the skin’s
surface and hardens. Add this to trapped bacteria and you have a blemish in the
making.The trick is to keep pores clear of excess oils and free from infection.
Using an exfoliating scrub like this one is the perfect way to do that.
